Dr. Andrew Katerakis
Dr. Andrew Katerakis completed his undergraduate studies at Miami University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He continued his dental education by completing a General Practice Residency at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey, and an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
In 2018, Dr. Katerakis purchased the general dentistry practice of Dr. James Sims in Troy, who he considers to be his dental mentor. After moving back to Ohio, he married the love of his life, Lisa, who is from Beavercreek.
They live with their loving dogs, Lola and Carmen. In his spare time, he enjoys travel, golf, and spending time with family and friends.
Kelly
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Kelly ventured into the dental field in 1987 after becoming friends with a wonderful dentist who inspired her to try something new. She joined our team in 1991 as an assistant and attended Sinclair Community College, graduating in 2013 with her Expanded Function Dental Assistant license.
Kelly is committed to keeping her patients informed and focused on their dental health needs. Her duties include caring for patients, taking x-rays and impressions, fillings, sterilization, and assisting the dentist. She loves getting to know her patients and having the opportunity to form lasting and enriching friendships with them.
Kelly is married with two adult children and resides in Miami East (Viking Country). She enjoys the peace and quiet of country living, gardening, family, and community. She also takes pleasure in entertaining friends and family with frequent barbecues at her home.
She also serves as a Board Member of Eagle Wings Stables and is an active member at St. Patrick’s Church, volunteering in the Make a Meal Program and supporting the St. Patrick’s Festival. She has also volunteered with The Give Kids a Smile Program.

Kathryn
Administrative Lead
Kathryn has been working in the dental field since 2019 when she started as our office assistant. She graduated from Troy High School in 2012 and Edison Community College in 2014.
Kathryn chose dentistry because she loves helping people, and her favorite part of the job is making personal connections with our patients. Her responsibilities as an office assistant are to make appointments, greet patients, and ensure they have all the information they need during their visit.
Kathryn and her husband, Sean, have two beautiful children and reside in Tipp City. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, hiking, and baking.

Carissa
Registered Dental Hygienist
Carissa graduated from Westerville North High School in 1997. She then attended The Ohio State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2001. She received her Expanded Function for the Dental Auxiliary degree in 2001 and started working for Dr. Katerakis in 2021.
She loves putting her patients at ease during their appointments and making a difference in their oral health. Carissa’s duties include taking x-rays, periodontal charting, intraoral photos, treatment planning, applying fluoride, scaling and root planning, ultrasonic instrumentation, and oral hygiene instruction.
Carissa’s passion for teeth started in childhood when she became fascinated by her lost baby teeth and wanted to study them. She was so intrigued that she experimented on extracted teeth in high school and knew dentistry would be her passion and career.
Outside the practice, Carissa’s family includes her husband, three children, Evan, Carson, and Reagan, their dog, Karl, and a cat named Alice. The family enjoys staying busy with the kids' sports activities, camping with friends and family, and boating.
Hunter
Registered Dental Hygienist
We are thrilled to welcome Hunter, a recent graduate of Sinclair Community College Dental Hygiene, to our team! With a deep passion for oral health and a love for seeing patients smile confidently after treatment, Hunter brings both skill and heart to our practice.
Hunter’s role includes professional cleanings, periodontal therapy, administering local anesthetic, taking diagnostic x-rays, and more. She is especially passionate about helping patients achieve a beautiful, healthy smile - enhancing both their appearance and overall well-being.
Outside the office, Hunter enjoys spending time with her husband Kohlton and their son Emmett in her hometown of Greenville. Her hobbies include cooking and baking, catching up on horror and thriller movies, long walks, listening to music, and shopping 'til she drops.
