Vicki Love O’Neal
Vicki is our office manager. She has worked for Dr. James D. Sims and Dr. James L. Sims for 24 years. She graduated from Troy High School in 1977 and Edison Community College in 1990 with an Associate Degree in Data Processing and a Certificate in Desktop Publishing. She also has her certification in CPR. Her last 24 years with both Drs. Sims, Dr. Culp and her co-workers have been rewarding, exciting and a lot of fun.
Vicki is the coordinator for The Western Ohio Dental Society and helped start up The Give Kids A Smile Program in the Troy area with Dr. Leslie Culp. She also volunteered on Friday afternoons with the opening of The Miami County Dental Clinic, assisting the office manager.
Vicki resides in Troy with her husband Tim. They have a daughter, Jordan, and a granddaughter, Audrey. She enjoys time spent with her very large family.
She also enjoys socializing with friends, bicycling, swimming and crocheting. She loves spending winter weeks in the “sunny” state of Florida.
Kelly has been a dental assistant for more than 20 years and a specialized, Expanded Function Dental Assistant, for 6 years. She graduated from Troy High School and attended Sinclair Community College to obtain her EFDA licensure. She is committed to keeping her patients informed and focused on their dental health needs.
Kelly resides in Miami East (Viking Country). She enjoys the peace and quiet of country living, gardening, family and community. She also takes pleasure in entertaining friends and family with frequent barbeques at her Piqua home.
She is married to Mike and they have two children, Cory & Emma.
Kelly is a Board Member of Eagle Wings Stables and an active member at St. Patrick’s Church, volunteering in the Make a Meal Program and supporting the St. Patrick’s Festival. She has volunteered with The Give Kids A Smile Program.
Kelly has worked with Dr. Sims for 23 years.
Amy has lived in Pleasant Hill all of her life, graduating from Newton High School.
She is married to Dave and they have three children, Andy, Josh and Lacey, and four grandchildren.
Amy has been a certified dental assistant for 18 years, 15 of those years with Dr. Sims. She attended Sinclair Community College for licensure to place dental sealants and polishing.
Amy has helped with The Give Kids A Smile Program for 13 years. She traveled with Dr. Leslie Culp to Baton Rouge, LA to aid the Hurricane Katrina victims in 2005.
Amy enjoys boating at Lake Cumberland, gardening, cooking and crafting. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Sara Printz Kaiser
Sara is a registered Dental Hygienist. She has worked for Dr. Sims since 2010.
Sara is a 2004 graduate of Ansonia High School. She is a 2009 graduate of Sinclair Community College where she obtained an Associates of Applied Science Degree. She has her certification in CPR and Local Anesthesia.
Sara resides in Greenville with her husband Dan, their son Holden and their dachshund, Jackson. Sara enjoys spending time with her family and friends, gardening and being outdoors.
She is a proud supporter of the March of Dimes.
Velvet Black Nees
Velvet is a registered Dental Hygienist. She is a 1981 graduate of Troy High School. She attended North Eastern Louisiana University with a degree in Aviation. She attended Sinclair Community College and earned her Associates of Applied Science Degree, and has just completed a course in Local Anesthesia.
Velvet joined our practice in 2013.
She resides in Piqua with her husband Bill and their three children, Travis, Alex and Emma.
Velvet is a Board Member of the Miami County Dental Clinic.
Velvet enjoys running, bicycling, concerts, traveling and socializing with family and friends.
